Graham Howell Concert - Celebrating 40 Years at Cothill

A concert featuring alumni and pupil musicians, that highlights the impact of Graham's exemplary music and performance teaching over 40 years.

The concert will be followed by drinks and canapés
Saturday 27th June, 6.30pm at Cothill

Graham Howell began his musical career as a chorister at Westminster Abbey, where he sang at the late Queen's Silver Jubilee. He then headed to Ardingly College as a music scholar before studying music at Durham University. In 1986, he came to Cothill and the rest as they say is history. Forty years on and he is still working with the same vim and vigour with which he began. His ability to craft arrangements to suit the children in front of him is legendary and these pieces would fill endless volumes. The quiet, gentle impact he has had on generations of musicians, whether they've pursued it beyond Cothill or not, is quite remarkable. Understated in everything he does his musicianship is beyond superlatives. Cothill has been lucky to have such a loyal and talented servant for so long.

Old Cothillians Family and Cricket Day

Old Cothillians and their families are invited to enjoy children's games, BBQ and bar whilst watching an alumni team face current and former staff in a friendly but very competitive cricket match.
Sunday 28th June 11.30am onwards.

Bouncy castles and garden games.
Golf, tennis, croquet and the swimming pool will available to all.
BBQ lunch, bar and match tea will be provided.
